Taking photos in Lannion, Brittany is a sheer joy, the town and area offer old style french architecture, a couple of churches, a couple of beaches next to a walker’s and wildlife zone, activity on the Beg Leguer river and much more. There are more details elsewhere on this site.
If you go into the Lannion tourist center, which is situated in the main town carpark next to the Post office, you’ll be provided with maps and plenty of information about the town. Don’t worry they are very friendly and speak several languages including English.
Everything is walkable, (although you’ll be breathless after visiting the church of Brelevenez) leave your car in the car park, I think it’s about a Euro for a couple of hours, and have a enjoyable wander.
You’ll need your car to get to the beaches, but it’s only about ten minutes away.
