Saint Jacques airport is small but functional, as you walk in the first set of doors there are the check in desks ahead of you. To the the left, on the left are one of two sets of toilets, after which there is the cafe and seating area.
The cafe is very basic, and you are after a hearty meal you will be disappointed! But it does offer an array of wraps, rolls, pastries, salads and cakes, together with tea, coffee and various soft and alcoholic drinks.
The cafe has a newsagent section and also sells confectionery. There are two seating area’s one inside and one out, ideal for smokers and sun lovers.
When your flight is called, there is no long walk or train to a departure lounge, like the big airports, you just walk from your cafe table a few yards to the security area, after which there are a choice of departure lounges dependant on your destination. Important, there are no catering facilities in the departure lounges apart from a drinks machine for which you need appropriate coinage.
It really is a bijou airport, but quite pleasant. There’s not much else to see or do, so bring a good book!
